I tried to come up with some music again today. Still couldn't make anything great. Maybe I'm not putting my heart into it or something. HHhhmmm. Or maybe not enough time. But it is hard to spend a bunch of time on work when you are in a creative slump. And not working just makes your slump worse. And your slump being worse makes it even harder to do any work. Hhhmmm. I think I spot a vicious cycle.
I hate those things.

Welcome, one and all, weary travellers of the internet! I am a full-time normal person, and part-time filmmaker. Many know me as "HardCore7777777" on YouTube. I will be posting regular updates on my projects here, so that anyone who is interested in how things are moving along can have a more detailed glimpse into what I do and what I think of it.

I use the same formula every time. Start with little loops, get bigger. Make your loops all the same length. Switch stuff up. My mix timeline usually looks like this.

Ect. Something along those lines. Build up. Climatic. As far as making loops, try looking at the piano rolls for other pieces and alter the notes so that you have a good tempo. I know it can be a frustrating process to write music with visuals in mind, a lot of my worse stuff ends up being forced and rushed because the video is done. But my better songs, (Europopr, Caribpopr,Fastr) were songs that I made before the video because I was inspired to, so now when I make music I aim for a mood and not a fit with the visuals, I do that later in editing. Hope this helps, good luck and can't wait to see the movie!
Thanks for your advice and encouragement CZ. It's pretty awesome to have such great readers like you.
